Information to retain
The product sheet for ref. DIV-018-3 associates the interchangeable Ø 70 mm ball valve with the following information: Floating nut: Aluminium S75 mm; Outlet: Male S60x6 (S60 mm); Specifications: High strength. These details provide the factual basis for selection, stocking and replacement.
Model-specific distinguishing data
The check can start with Note: Image for illustration purposes only, spout not supplied. For the interchangeable Ø 70 mm ball valve, this detail must remain unchanged in internal documentation to make future comparisons easier.
Position the control
The handle, lever or operating mechanism must remain usable once the valve is installed. For this reference, check the manoeuvring space, outlet orientation and clearance for the downstream fitting. An installation that obstructs the operating mechanism must be repositioned before commissioning.
Prepare the installation
For the interchangeable Ø 70 mm ball valve, use the threads, seating surfaces and position of the seals, when they are part of the assembly, as key checks. Installation starts with clean surfaces and verification of the specified sealing components. Misalignment must not be corrected by excessive tightening.
