The choice of bag size depends on the volume to be packed, the weight of the contents and the space required to close the bag. Compare the specifications of each product before determining the quantities you need.
Which bag size should you choose?
The stated dimensions refer to the bag when laid flat. They are not sufficient to determine the volume once filled or the maximum load capacity. A lightweight, bulky product takes up more space than a dense material of the same weight. Carry out a filling test with your contents to check the bag size and closure method.
Leave sufficient space at the top to close the bag without placing excessive strain on the material or seams. For a series of consistent batches, define a target weight and check it during packing. Depending on the product, the white bags shown are supplied in packs of 100 units.
Woven bag, net bag or polyethylene bag?
The material and structure of the bag influence its use. A net bag allows air and small particles to pass through. A woven bag has a different construction. A polyethylene bag belongs to a separate category: this category may also display products made from this material. Therefore, check the product page for the selected item rather than relying solely on the page title.
Is the bag watertight?
Resistance to moisture does not necessarily mean that the bag is watertight or impermeable to fine powders.
