The Containers Service range includes stated capacities of 1 to 1.5 kg, 2.5 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg. These sizes are suitable for preparing both small batches for direct sales and bags intended for handling larger volumes.
Choosing the right size for the weight of the nuts
The space occupied by one kilogram of nuts depends in particular on their size and shape. To choose a net bag for nuts, compare the stated capacity and the flat dimensions. Leave enough space to close the bag after filling. Testing the bag with your own harvest allows you to check the resulting weight without stretching the mesh excessively.
The products available range from 18 x 48 cm to 39 x 84 cm. They are supplied in packs of 100 units. The number of bags required depends on the total weight to be packed and the weight selected for each batch. Keep a small reserve for sorting operations or preparing additional orders.
Can wet nuts be put in bags?
The net promotes ventilation, but it does not replace drying the harvest. Prepare the nuts before packing and avoid storing bags tightly packed together in a damp area. Check the condition of the contents regularly during storage.
