Containers Service offers several sizes, with stated load capacities of 2.5 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg or 25 kg depending on the product. Choose your bag according to the weight of the batch, the size of the potatoes and the type of closure required.

Which bag should you choose for packing potatoes?

For retail sales, smaller sizes are ideal for preparing consistent portions. The 10 kg and 25 kg bags are suitable for larger packing requirements. The load capacity indicated on the product page must be respected: a bag that is large enough is not necessarily designed to support any weight. Make sure you also leave enough space at the top to close the bag without compressing the tubers.

With or without a drawstring closure

The range includes bags with a drawstring and one model without a drawstring. An integrated closure makes it easier to prepare batches of bags. A model without a drawstring requires a closure suited to your packing method. Compare the dimensions, stated load capacity and number of bags per pack before calculating your requirements for the harvest.

How should bagged potatoes be stored?

Store the batches in a dry, well-ventilated place away from light. The net allows air to circulate, but also lets light through: it is no substitute for proper storage conditions.
