1" 1/2 male BSP bulkhead fitting
Specifications:
Leave room for the nut
The check can start with space for the nut, seals and downstream fitting. The location must allow work on both sides of the wall when required by the installation. A hard-to-reach point makes tightening and subsequent checks more difficult.
Check the bulkhead opening
The 1" 1/2 male BSP bulkhead fitting must be checked by examining nut security, absence of play and behaviour of the wall connection. Once assembled, the bulkhead fitting must be checked using a method appropriate to the installation. A leak should prompt reassembly rather than additional excessive stress.
