Specifications:
What this product page states
When comparing this product with the existing item, check Screw-on system; Male outlet: S100x8 buttress thread Ø 100 mm; Female connection: 3" S100x8 buttress thread. This information is specific to the female 3" S100x8 buttress-thread drain spout and is not a general specification applicable to the whole family.
Avoid stress during installation
Consider component alignment, correct engagement of the thread or push-fit connection and accessibility of the fitting together when checking the reference. The part must be inserted on-axis and without lateral stress. Unusual resistance should prompt another compatibility check rather than the use of force.
Clean before assembly
The check can start with the threads, seating surfaces and locations intended for a seal where one is provided. Contact surfaces must be clean before installation. Extra tightening cannot compensate for an incorrect thread or unsuitable diameter.
Compare the published dimensions
During the check, consider the values in millimetres or inches, thread pitch and connection geometry together. The dimensions stated on the product sheet take priority over the part's general appearance. Do not assume equivalence when a technical specification differs.
