Product technical details
For the check, start with Image: For illustration purposes only. This information is specific to ref. DIV-031-1; if another item differs on this point, equivalence must not be assumed.
Prepare the seating surfaces
When preparing the assembly or use, examine the threads, seating surfaces and locations intended for a seal where one is provided. Contact surfaces must be clean before installation. Extra tightening cannot compensate for an incorrect thread or unsuitable diameter.
Avoid stress during installation
During the check, consider component alignment, correct engagement of the thread or push-fit connection and accessibility of the fitting together. The part must be inserted on-axis and without lateral stress. Unusual resistance should prompt another compatibility check rather than the use of force.
Check the downstream component
To avoid confusion with a similar item, check the diameter of any hose, the type of quick coupling and the connection of the next accessory directly on the product sheet. The outlet must be compatible with the component fitted after the connector. Compatibility on only one side is not enough to validate the complete assembly.
