Context and Challenge
The company was previously using standard big bags to transport copper shot. However, due to the material’s high density, the bags would deform on pallets and overflow, leading to significant product loss. Additionally, forklift tines frequently pierced the bags, forcing workers to manually collect and reprocess the material. These issues resulted in operational delays and additional costs.
Solution Provided by Containers Service
Containers Service proposed a custom-made QBAG-type big bag, specifically engineered to withstand heavy loads while offering stability and safety. The bag’s dimensions were tailored to the client's material properties and logistics requirements. This version provides better stacking performance, enhanced durability, and resistance to forklift damage during handling.
After conducting a series of successful trials, the client approved the solution and has now integrated it into daily operations.
