Blue 2" seal - 5 mm wide x 5 mm thick
Specifications:
Use the correct reference
Colour, material or shape should only be used when documented for this reference. For this reference, check the information on the product sheet and the model dimensions. A property attributed to another seal in the range must not be applied automatically.
Identify the removed seal
For ref. DIV-030-00, replacing a seal starts with its actual dimensions and profile. Before use, compare the diameter, cross-section, thickness, width and other stated dimensions with the actual requirement. A nearby value must not be treated as the correct dimension without checking.
Identification details
For the blue 2" seal - 5 mm wide x 5 mm thick, several details are explicitly stated: Diameter: 2"; Dimensions: 5 mm wide x 5 mm thick; Colour: Blue. Keep them with ref. DIV-030-00 so that specifications from another item in the range are not applied by analogy.
Information to retain
When preparing a replenishment order, note Use: Sealing for fittings and valves. This detail identifies the blue 2" seal - 5 mm wide x 5 mm thick without treating a property observed only on another model as certain.
Clean the seating surfaces
When preparing the assembly or use, examine the seating surfaces, grooves and contact areas. The surfaces that receive the seal must be clean and even. A surface defect can cause a leak even with a new seal.
