Identify the valve
The check can start with the diameter, valve type, container-side connection and outlet. A valve must be selected based on its operating mechanism and actual connections. Two similar models may differ by a single fastening system or dimension.
Retain the correct model
To avoid confusion with a similar item, check the type of operating mechanism, dimensions and connection shape directly on the product sheet. Keep the installed valve reference and dimensions linked in stock or maintenance records. This traceability prevents substitution with a similar, undocumented model.
Check leak-tightness
The check can start with the valve interfaces, seals and outlet fitting. After assembly, the connections must be checked using the procedure appropriate to the circuit. Any leak or unusual play requires the assembly to be checked again.
Specifications that must not be confused
For the S60x6 ball valve with aluminium floating nut, several details are explicitly stated: Diameter: Ø 56 mm; Outlet: Male S60x6 Ø 56 mm; Specifications: High strength. Keep them with ref. DIV-018-35 so that specifications from another item in the range are not applied by analogy.
