A simple solution for grouping together containers intended for disposal
Our client, an industrial company with several factories, was looking for a solution to collect various types of solid waste generated on its sites: filters, empty aerosols, soiled containers and packaging intended to be thrown away.
The objective was to have robust containers that were easy for teams to use and suitable for removal to a waste disposal facility for reprocessing.
The need: storing waste without requiring perfectly clean drums
In this context, the client did not need new or completely clean drums. As the collected containers were themselves intended for disposal, the priority was instead practicality, drum uniformity and their ability to be properly closed before transport.
The solution also had to enable simple management across the different sites, with identical and easily recognizable drums.
The CONTAINERS SERVICE solution: 192 FUT-019-A reuse drums
Containers Service proposed 192 FUT-019-A reuse metal drums, all identical and in the same colour.
These drums had previously contained honey. The possible presence of residues was not an issue for the intended use, since the collected waste was then sent to a reprocessing channel.
Equipped with a lid and a lever-lock ring, these drums can be securely closed after filling. This system is particularly suitable when the containers placed inside may show traces or residues of products.
A client satisfied with a solution suited to its use
The client was satisfied with this solution, which met its needs without over-specifying the product.
The reuse drums proved perfectly suited to collecting solid waste in factories before it was sent to a waste disposal facility. Their used condition, consistent with the final destination of the waste, made it possible to offer a solution that was practical, economical and responsible.
