IBC fitting for tank
Connection: Female S60x6
Outlet: Tap with straight 25 mm male barbed outlet
Model-specific distinguishing data
The Outlet: Tap with straight male 25 mm barbed outlet; Connection: Female S60x6 details also distinguish similar variants. For ref. DIV-027-12, these data must take priority over a similarity in shape or presentation.
Check both interfaces
For the IBC tank fitting, use the diameter, thread type, male or female orientation and outlet shape as key checks. A fitting is selected by considering its two sides separately. A single different dimension can prevent assembly even when the parts look similar.
Install on-axis
Consider component alignment, correct engagement of the thread or push-fit connection and accessibility of the fitting together when checking the reference. The part must be inserted on-axis and without lateral stress. Unusual resistance should prompt another compatibility check rather than the use of force.
Keep the reference traceable
Reference DIV-027-12 is distinguished in particular by the following points to check: the exact designation, stated dimensions and nature of each interface. The product reference makes future replacement easier and prevents mix-ups between similar dimensions. A generic designation alone can conceal a decisive difference between two fittings.
Details specific to this reference
For the IBC tank fitting, several details are explicitly stated: Connection: Female S60x6; Outlet: Tap with straight male 25 mm barbed outlet. Keep them with ref. DIV-027-12 so that specifications from another item in the range are not applied by analogy.
