S60x6 female adapter with buttress thread
Diameter: Ø 56 mm
Connection: 2" female BSP thread
Prepare the seating surfaces
Contact surfaces must be clean before installation. For this reference, check the threads, seating surfaces and locations intended for a seal where one is provided. Extra tightening cannot compensate for an incorrect thread or unsuitable diameter.
Record the removed part
To avoid confusion with a similar item, check both connections, dimensions and any specific material or shape characteristics directly on the product sheet. When replacing the part, compare the specifications of the removed part point by point with the product sheet. External similarity is not proof of compatibility.
Identification details
To identify ref. DIV-018-42 unambiguously, retain the following published details: Diameter: Ø 56 mm; Connection: Female 2" BSP. This combination of data is more reliable than a comparison based only on appearance.
Product technical details
When preparing a replenishment order, note Connection: Female 2" BSP; Diameter: Ø 56 mm. These details identify the female S60x6 buttress-thread adapter without treating a property observed only on another model as certain.
Inspect the completed connection
Reference DIV-018-42 is distinguished in particular by the following points to check: alignment, absence of unusual play and a leak test appropriate to the circuit. Once the part is installed, inspect the connection before regular use. Any leak or deformation requires the assembly and the references used to be checked again.
