Check before installation
During the check, consider the condition of the strands, rubbing areas and ends together. The section used must remain free from cuts or visible wear. A damaged section must be discarded rather than compensated for by additional tension.
Identification details
To identify ref. CER-002 unambiguously, retain the following published details: Length: 500 m; Strength: 1040 Kgf minimum; Unwinding: Central. This combination of data is more reliable than a comparison based only on appearance.
Information to retain
For the check, start with Reel weight: 10 kg; UV protection: Anti-UV 1%; Sales unit: Sold as a 10 kg reel. These details are specific to ref. CER-002; if another item differs on any of these points, equivalence must not be assumed.
Interpret strength data in context
The published strength characterises the reference but does not by itself define the strength of a packaged load. For this reference, check the stated value, load geometry and number of ties used. The result also depends on the workstation and actual conditions of use.
Identify the reel
During the check, consider the number of strands, stated colours, length, weight and stated strength together. The twine is distinguished by its composition and reel data. Colour alone is not enough to identify a reference correctly.
